Anyone else had this?

I've had ibs for most of adult life, flare uos happen if I'm tired or stressed and a change of routine. Unfortunately mine is ibs c. I'm lucky if I go 3 times in 1 week. But when I do go I go! Anyways last Fri I had a flare up due to going away for the weekend. Didn't have a bowel movement till weds. Had to take a laxative as was bloated etc. Since weds I've been going regularly every morning, movement is normal.

Anyone else had this after taking a laxative?

As well as taking numerous laxatives, simultaneously (medics prescribed), I have to use a suppository every day. There are odd occasions when I have gone "normally" for maybe 2 days or sometimes three, but then I need a suppository again the next day. Even with the daily suppositories I only manage 3 times per week on average.
