Hi can any one advise on my newest issue!.... I've been taking lactlose twice a day for 4 days and my motions are strange i.e IBS d with solid bits in??? Then my next motion will be soft then again ibsd with solid bits in? Tia

Hi there, i believe lactulose is a type of laxative so I don’t think it would be much help with diarrhoea. Perhaps try some Imodium IBS or any other anti diarrhoeal medicines. It might be worth asking a pharmacist or your GP. Also if your diarrhoea is not ibs related, it might be worth getting tested for any bacterias or intestinal parasites. Good luck!
