Hi, Have had problems last few weeks, firstly I got sharp stabbing pain on top left side of bowel which lasted about ten mins, since then have had very tight muscle spasms mainly across top section of bowel, especially when gas or stools going through with odd twinges of pain. Also feels like burning sometimes on left top and side of bowel. No diarrhea, stools bit harder sometimes and more sluggish.
Any help would be good thanks. 😊

No none of them. Only thing I'm wondering about is, first time I got the pain had spasms day before when I got my first covid vaccine. 😊
That is good! The left sided pain makes me nervous if coupled with other symptoms. I have heard of other people saying they experienced a flare of symptoms after receiving the vaccine. It could be that. Are your bowel movements pretty regular?
Our dietitian at North Shore hospital told us today that when constipated and body is working hard to try and move waste product along (with gurgling, waves of gas , etc) it will often feel painful ....a bit like when you exercise hard and have aches and pains next day. Keep up all the remedies for constipation like green kiwi fruit. Peppermint tea, fiber, no more than 3 fruits a day, plenty of veg and water, water.
Thanks Andann, just started on the peppermint tea, must admit last couple of weeks my diet changed and not been eating Alot trying to cut sugars out as found out I was pre diabetic, will re think diet again and incorporate more veg etc. I suppose aswell being stressed Alot won't help. Thanks for the info. 😊
