I’ve had this ever present rash since January and it m flared up at the same time as my IBS-c issues, which include constipation and bloating and inflammation or irritation which send signals to my brain, keeping me awake at night. Just wondering if a rash could be connected. I’ve had a little eczema now and then throughout my life but nothing like this! It doesn’t want to go away!

Is my rash related to my bloating /constipation

Hi, in my case the chronic (low grade?) inflammation causes rashes on my upper legs (looked like mastocytosis and have seen a specialist doctor for this) and 'acne' on my head. I take scutellaria and quercitine because of this chronic inflammation and rhodiola for stress that may be caused by SIBO / bacterial disbalance in my small intestines. So yes, could be IBS related. I have to mind histamine (releasing food/medication), egg white, lactose and wheat because these are all triggers. Intolerance due to IBS/SIBO. Fatty food causes bloating/nausea/pain. I think excessive build up of gas produced by bacteria. Gas gets blocked in the intestines, can't easily pass.
Does the rash cause itching and is it localized? Has a physician examined your rash?
Hi Pte82 My rash (it’s everywhere ) has been checked by 4 doctors -two on the zoom And two in person. There was no consensus at first. But the specialist now believes it’s eczema, except two patches on my legs are little bit weird with a nest of very dark veins around one. Every once in a while the leg patch gets hot and burning feeling. The other ones on the body just get itchy now and then. They seem to come and go. I just had my vaccination yesterday and my leg patches are burning!
These links offer information to identify and possibly give relief for your rash. Quercetin has low bioavailability making it necessary to use a liposomal or the isoquercetin form. Krill oil offers better absorption than fish oil and doesn't have an after taste. Always consult your health care professional before using any supplement.
