Has anyone had any positive experiences with CBD oil in relieving symptoms? I’ve seen mixed reviews but feel like giving anything a go at this point

CBD for IBS?
I haven’t yet but I intend to soon when I have some spare cash. I want to do it properly and speak to a consultant who can prescribe the correct strength and quality. Just buying off the shelf won’t work. I think CBD helps bring down stress levels that greatly exacerbates IBS and helps with lots of other health issues too so I can’t wait.
I did try it and there was a slight improvement but the cost outweighed the benefits. After trial and error I find if I regulate what I eat, take Colpermin, Alforex and Fybogel daily it is more effective and cheaper in the long run.I still get a flair up but not so often or so painful. CBD might work for you so if you can afford it give it a try.
CBD oil did nothing for me at all. It didn’t relieve the symptoms or anxiety. It was very expensive too. However, for those who it works for, the expense has to be worth it.
I have been using CBD successfully for severe arthritic changes and a host of other major chronic illnesses for 4 years. I've been suffering from gut pains since Oct 2020, am due to have a CT scan soon. For some reason the oil seems slightly less successful on this type of pain though I think I ought to increase the dose slightly to be fair. So that 'failure' is partly down to me. I believe CBD from the High St is a waste of money. I use a very strong oil that comes with a third party lab certficate, 70% strength, from my COPD group and I believe there's none better. Yes it comes at a cost but for me (pensioner) it's worth every penny. Cats15, you might already know this, this thing about getting it through a consultant, I believe is getting a script for a THC and CBD mix. That's very different from straight CBD oil.
