Hi All. Does anyone feel pain when they push on a certain part of their stomach near the belly button area?

Yes, i had an umbilical hernia that caused pain nr site of belly button . a small op fixed it up. Have you seen your gp for a physical examination to help narrow it down? Try not to worry as there are many treatments out there to help once you have a diagnosis

With symptoms a lot depends upon where the hernia is located. I think burping and bloating would be more likely for a hernia higher up such as a hiatus hernia. Some people have symptoms and others don't so even that is not a good guide. I had burping, pain nr hernia, excessive gut noises and sensations of movement and bloating, but only the pain went when my hernia was removed and so I was given a diagnosis of functional gut disorder when the bloating and burping persisted. The pain was not agony but it was persistent and stopped me doing most exercise which was a bit miserable.

Yes constantly just to the right of the bellybutton ct normal , ultrasound normal , bloods normal so try not to worry too much x

Yes, all the time. Apparently, pain in the stomach can be referred from anywhere else in the stomach, the thing to look at is how bad is the pain and are there any other symptoms.

Diarrhea and appetite loss are my other symptoms. Losing the WILL to live at this point. My doctor is convinced it's nothing serious as I'm only 22. Serious illness does not discriminate though as he fails to understand. Next step is changing my GP ASAP
