I have D. Take ondasteron for nausea. Hyoscyamine for pain. Lomotil for D. Probiotics and prilosec daily. Does it help? Ha ha. Sometimes. Just a terrible disease!

Wow! Thatโ€™s lots of pills to take every day. Thanks for answer.

I have both C and D alternating, but for the most part C. I regulate the amount of food and what I eat. Basically dropped the man made rubbish and eat natural and fresh foods, I'm careful of what I drink preferring to stick with filtered water. Don't over exert myself and try to stop any anxiety or stress in my life. Yes, almost impossible but I have to try as it can really stir up the gut.

The best part is I'm well on the way to recover, I started from not being able to eat or drink without a nasty reaction. I have increased the amount I eat, naturally! I have also increased the range of foods I can tolerate.

But it is like being an alcoholic, step off the wagon and you relapse.

Good luck.

Thank you for your answer... yes I have noticed the same, what we eat and drink matter a lot with IBS, taking mebeverine, buscopan and peppermint oil regularly helps me too... I am just hoping I will not have to do it for the rest of my life. Anyway thatโ€™s better than living with the pain.... I also feel worse when I am stressed, I would recommend yoga, practicing even 10-15 min makes me feel better even if I am beginner :)

Hi there Iโ€™ve taken buscopan for cramps , antidepressants as it made me depressed , optifibre and movicol for constipation and if it gets too much Iโ€™m booking one way ticket to dignitas ๐Ÿ˜‚x
