I came across this the other day, and found it very interesting, so I thought I would post it on here for others to read if they so wish.

Maureen.
Maureen, that was fascinating. I wonder how much research is going on.
Thank you for sharing Maureen, very interesting. I've already read about the correlation between IBS and Fibromyalgia but there are so many other symptoms.
Yes, when COVID is a little more under control, I think I will make an appointment to see one of the other doctors at my surgery as I really think all the pain I get everywhere else in my body could well be fibromyalgia. I get pain in my face too which I wonder could be TMJD!
I would tend to agree with you, there is a correlation between the two. When I took part in a study one of the questions was did have Fibromyalgia.
I've a good few of them symptoms x
Very interesting. I wonder if a round of hypnotherapy might be the next thing to try!
Been there, done that, didn't work! 🙂
Oh dear. We will try anything. I just had a session with my Homeopath. she is treating the nervous system and it worked well for me last year on several occasions. Just going for another round
Hi everyone, I read this with great interest. My hubby has suffered for decades with IBS, not always but a lot of the times stress related, even subconscious stress.
In an unrelated matter we decided to go meat free just over a year ago, still eating fish and eggs but no other animal meats. Since then he has never had another episode of IBS. Needles to say we continue being vegetarian as it has several other benefits too.
I am just wondering if any of you are also vegetarian and if so if it made a difference to you???
Many Thanks and Best Wishes
Yes. Have given up beef and noticed a great difference. Eat other meats but not too much these days
That's odd, I had the total opposite experience. I got way worse as a vegetarian and lost so much weight from nonstop D, so I tried the Carnivore all beef and water only diet, and am totally fine now. The only time my IBS flares up now is if I eat too much in one sitting or drink too much water with my meal. And, I've only eaten beef for going on 5 years now and all my blood tests and markers for health are better than they ever have been before. I wouldnt even know I had IBS and I had it BAD for a decade prior to starting to eat meat. So weird how we can all be so different!
This is a very good report. It explains a lot. I also went to their home page to look into to more of their research. Thanks for sharing.
This is a great find Maureen1958 . Certainly something that you can wave in front of your GP so they start taking your Fibromyalgia theory seriously.
Thanks xjrs.
Thank you for sharing. Very insightful and interesting. This could explain so much to what we go through and hopefully help us.
This sounds like histamine intolerance
