Not me. I have enough brains and determination not to throw caution to the wind. Looked at all the treats on offer and stuck with my diet. Feeling great and no flare up.😇

Why would I not be smug when I have the fortitude to stick to what works for me. Everyone has a choice, I reap the benefits of my choice. In making the hard choices I have I'm beating my IBS and winning. It is just plain stupid to put yourself in that position knowing the likely out come foe lack of will power.😋

Yes I recognise I'm lucky but that only came through hard work and diligence which a lot of people don't seem to be prepared to do. I concede it has been a pretty rough trip and I have had to figure it all out myself, because I was not prepared to live with it. I have come from not being able to eat or drink with out severe reactions to where I'm at now, just 7 years of struggle. It is everything to do with will power if you bother to read the original first post. You are confusing yourself and relating my comments to yourself and not the post. I did not respond to those who don't have a choice.While I'm at it don't assume I haven't had it as bad as it can get. I was left being unable to eat or drink for weeks without feeling 9 months pregnant. Unable to bend at the waist, living in close proximity to the toilet. Reread the topic!

No matter what I eat and don’t eat I’m in pain every day . But yesterday I ate more I even had a glass of wine first one in over a year . And in pain today but just the same pain as always . Jus5 start afresh tomorrow . So glad you had a merry Christmas . 😋🎄

There are some who fail to recognise that there is a difference between consciously choosing to eat what will cause a reaction because they can't resist it and those who have no option and react to anything they eat anyway. For those who wish to think I'm getting at them, reread the topic post and think again, you are missing the point and getting your knicker in a twist over your assumptions.
