Hi everyone. Been long since I have posted. Just wanted to chk with everyone about their health with IBS in these tuff times. My IBS is going Okie. Some bad days but most good days thankfully. Stress definitely effects my IBS and my gut bacteria. But I am learning to stay clam inspite of the current chaos right now in these tuff times. Just wanted to reach out and let everyone know that this will pass also. Would love to hear if anyone wants to share anything. 🙂hope everyone is keeping well and safe.

Lovely to hear from you. I'm so pleased your IBS is, on the whole, not too bad.

I've been following a low fodmap diet since January and am going to stick to it as i can't tolerate most high fodmap foods, it's easier to stick to what I know. It's made a huge difference to me, I still have off days but most of the time i don't suffer the nausea that I was getting.

Anyway, here's to our guts behaving themselves.

Take care🌈😊👍

Hi. So nice to hear that you are doing well on the FODMAP diet. It definitely was very helpful to me also. I had some issues back in March and then in July. But overall my IBS has been quite good this year. Maybe one of the reasons is that I am definitely eating all my meals at home. I have infact even tried eating some high FODMAP foods. Don’t seem to be effecting me for now. Of course I introduced them slowly. Trying to build my gut health slowly. Definitely see a bit of an improvement this year.

That's so lovely to hear you are also doing well and managing to eat some high fodmap foods. The diet was a life changer for me.

I'm really pleased you posted an update.

Take care

Alicia 😊🌈🌈

Good to hear that you are doing OK Laxmik. My IBS is much improved since last year after getting the right treatment, though it is taking me ages to introduce new foods back into my diet (1 new food sometimes taking weeks), so it is a long drawn out process, but so worth it in the end. It would be great to get this COVID thing under control (vaccine/mass testing), so that we can widen our horizons and have nice things to look forward to to help take our minds off of IBS.

I completely agree. We definitely need to get this COVID thing under control. Half my stress has been due to that. But still trying to remain clam. I agree reintroduction if food definitely takes time. I also reintroduce foods slowly. I am glad to hear your are doing well on your diet too. 🙂

Thanks for your concern. I am ticking over. In remission even. It takes a lot of management but this has now become second nature.

I agree. Over time I have gotten used to it. I don’t panic like I use to when I get a flare up now. It has infact helped calmed my IBS down for sure.
