Hello. I have been put on this triple medication therapy (Amoxicillin 2g per day, clarithromycin 1mg per day and Pantoprazole 80mg per day) to eradication of h pylori
I am on day 2 and suffering from diarrhoea presumably because of heavy dose of Amoxicillin
Did anyone have same experience and how do you stop diarrhoea but continue to take Amoxicillin dose?

It would be good to quickly get your hands on some Saccharomyces Boulardii, which is a beneficial fungus. It has been scientifically studied to reduce antibiotic associated diarrhea. If you take probiotics when on antibiotics, the antibiotics will kill the probiotics and they won't do anything for you. However since Saccharomyces Boulardii is a beneficial yeast the antibiotics won't touch it and it will protect your gut microbiome. In fact most people who take antibiotics should be on Saccharomyces Boulardii at the same time. It is a shame that doctors don't supply this as a prescription alongside antibiotics. You may need to take it whilst on the antibiotics and 2 weeks to a month afterwards. If you get continually constipated on it, it probably means you can stop taking it.
