FODMAP

Hi, I'm new. I was wondering if anyone else has tried the FODMAP diet, especially in combination with other diets. I have been told I should be on the FODMAP, diabetic, weight loss, and GERD diets. I was feeling really overwhelmed. Recently I found ModifyHealth a business which provides meals that meet dietary needs. They have agreed to provide me with meals that meet all of the above requirements, and without eggplant or sweet potatoes, which I just don't like. Although they have dieticians I could have worked with, I already have a dietician I am happy with so they were fine with my continuing with her. My first meals arrives this Friday. Has anyone else dealt with this company? If so, how did it go? Has anyone else tried to combine multiple diets? How did that go? My dietician tells me she has successfully used this service before with her clients. Any feedback would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Hi. No I haven’t used ModifyHealth but have been on the Fodmap diet for about 8 weeks now as well as gluten free and have seen a huge improvement. Although I still go regularly I’m not constipated or suffer with diorreah And am pretty much pain free. I feel like I am now controlling the ibs instead of it controlling me. I have also lost weight. Good luck.

Thanks so much for the good wishes. I am glad to hear you are doing so well. It gives me hope that the FODMAP diet will help with my IBS.
