IBS does cause a lot of embarrassing gas.

The main symptom for me is excessive gas and hard stools which cause a great deal of pain and discomfort mainly during the night. I take 1 windeze, 1 Alverine citrate and 1 dulcoease every night now which seems to help

Hi! What is alverine citrate? I have painful gas a lot during the night...it's very hard to sleep through it...

It's an anti spasmodic. If taken together with simethicone (windeze) it can relax your colon helping gas to escape
