Clicking sound in leg with no pain
I have a clicking sound in my left hip on and off but I do not relate it IBS
what do you relate it
Possibly not enough lubricant in the joint and in my cases wear and tear-did mention to GP he did not seem to concerned as I said no pain felt.
My whole body clicks. My legs click when I walk down the stairs my arms will click when I stand up if I have been sitting for too long. I asked the doctors about it and they told me that it is normal and nothing to worry about. I was really stressed out about it because my family has history with arthritis.
I also have IBS but the clicking sound has nothing to do with it
I would imagine clicking could happen for more than one reason, and occasional clicks might be normal, but you know what's normal for you so if you're asking about it, it probably means your leg is clicking more than it used to. I had clicking - with pain - in one knee joint quite a few years ago before I developed IBS, and the doctor thought it was just from sitting with my foot tucked up under me, and sure enough it went away eventually some months after I stopped sitting that way - first it stopped hurting, then quite a while later it stopped clicking as well. However I now think, looking back, that it was probably an early warning sign for my TMJD which I believe was the root cause of my IBS. Clicking and/or pain in the jaw or shoulder area is known to be a common symptom of TMJD. So there possibly could be a connection between your clicky leg and your IBS, but there may be some other reason for it like wear in a joint.
