I had 2 bouts of food poisoning, the first one was a viral stomach bug and the second food poisoning Jan 11, 2017 I don’t know if it was bacterial or food poisoning and a couple of months later I had an onset of problems whenever I would eat chicken, spicy food or greasy I would start to feel this flushing feeling, than I would start to shake and my heart would beat really fast and I would defecate about 4-5 times and I would feel nauseous. It was like I was having the stomach flu all over again it wasn’t until later I did all the tests and everything came back normal. A year and half later luckily a GI stated that I tried probiotics with L Glutamine take 3 times a day for 8 weeks so far so good but I still run into some issues. I heard the 12 week course of symprove probiotic has helped a lot of people with that particular IBS!
Two important things about probiotics. Firstly most require to be refrigerated, always. This is from the manufacture date until consumed. Look for the ones that don't require it as those that do are usually dead because of the way they are stocked or transported. Secondly a probiotic is next to useless with out a prebiotic. The probiotic requires a prebiotic to live. Without it you have just wasted your money. If you are going to take probiotics it is best to weaken the yeast based enzymes in the stomach first by fasting so it has insufficient food to thrive on. Then hit it with the pre and probiotics. Not fasting first can strengthen the yeast enzymes and leave you worse off.
Succeeded once only to be hit with a massive does of biotics to stay alive, never been able to replicate the first success I had since.
