So this year with having IBS 8+ years

I have soreness & itching around the entrance of my anus.

I have tried a range of different OTC medicines but nothing seems to work.

Any advice would be welcomed if any of you have experienced this same problem.

TIA

I use Savlon, which is an antiseptic cream, but have been told Vaseline is just as effective

Have you investigated whether you have parasites? Many r too small to see with naked eye. They can also cause IBS symptoms.

Zinc cream or 'Nappy rash' cream for babies is excellent. This can be a result of IBS. A gastroenterologist put me onto nappy rash cream. Just use as required.
