Women's physio

Hi there,

I was at physio for my shoulder injury and was telling her about my bowel issues which in turn has given me some bladder issues as well, she said about doing something called women's physio therapy which she says can help with incontinence, as I currently have urge incontinence due to chronic diarrhoea, just wondering if anyone has done this and whether it helped or not?

Sounds interesting. This may be of interest to a lot of women. Let us know how you get on.

Are we talking Kegel exercises here?

I'm not sure it might be something along those lines, but she did say exercises to help with my bowel as well so it might be slightly different for that, I don't really know how to excerise my bowel muscles currently so might be helpful for me to know to help prevent accidents

I think the kegel exercises help everything down there from dropping. I think you just pull it all up with your pelvic muscles.
