Worried about eating

Hi i have IBS and diverticulitis, but now my food is going through me un digested,basically comes out the same as when i eat it ,is it part of my problems or is something else wrong now ,should i go to the GP ,thanx for reading .

I would go to your GP.

What advice have you been given so far? Do you still have a gallbladder?

Thankyou for replying ,no i dont have a gallbladder ,i have had no advice ,but will try my GP tomorrow,i dont really feel to poorly in myself apart from stomach cramps i have found out the hard way what foods to avoid but the list is getting longer,not had this latest problem before though

I suggest supplementing with S. Boulardii & psyllium husk to help with the loose stills, you will also need some digestive enzymes (you need digestive enzymes to break down your food), and a fat emulsifier as you do not have a gallbladder.

Without a gallbladder, the concentration of bile is no longer possible in the absence of the gallbladder; what was about 85% water from the gallbladder is now 97% water emanating from the biliary tree in the liver, which is not an effective fat emulsifier.

I suggest you take a good supplement containing ox bile. You may also need a probiotic as gut dysbiosis is linked to the absence of a gallbladder.

If you are taking any medication, never start taking supplements until you check for any drug/nutrient contraindications.

It sounds like a bit of bile salt malabsorption going on.

Definitely go back to gp and mention this x

I take Kratom and it has stopped my diarrhea cold. I have more normal poop so when it goes to IBS C I add magnesium and I am good . I have less cramping and feel more normal on every level
