Update ibs symptoms

Guys, I am now 156 pounds. The gas is not so bad since taking Ovol and when I have a bad episode, I take anti-diarrhea meds. I am still on a SIBO/FODMAP diet. I started to reintroduce foods, tried strawberry jam, corn flakes (nongluten), tuna. The tuna didn't go so well, it has pea powder in it go figure. I have two doctor appointments one to see my results and the other to see the specialist.

I am hoping I m getting some real facts on what is going on with me. In addition to IBS, I have body aches, neck pain, (slipped disc), fatigue AND venous reflux (mild).

And like a lot on this network, anxiety, stress can make everything worst.

Any thoughts on yoga or meditation?

SIt it relaxes you, then either or, indeed, both are good. Persnally, I find the less time I spend relaxing, the more energy and less symptoms I have.( I know it doesn't make sense: the more I do the more I can do- but there you go.)

Hi,

Yes, meditation is part of my tool kit - it's a daily (sometimes twice daily) self care/nurturing ritual with me. I use the insight timer app which is free and available on android and apple. It has been a total game changer for me. Yoga is also a mainstay for me - I use Yoga with Adrienne on YouTube because she is nothing short of fabulous.

Hi Kim 456 just a thought, have you read the book Low FODMAP Diet by dr Sue Shepherd? It explains why sometimes you can eat something with no effect whiles other times you have diarhea. Good luck
