Awaiting Results

I had to have blood tests last wk up my local hospital as was the only place to get them done quickly as my GP wants me tested for coeliac disease. Gotta ring to make an appointment to see him Thurs about the results

I will do, but is coeliac disease linked to IBS or not?

Well it's linked in the sense that people are often told they have IBS when in fact they have coeliac disease but remember that IBS is just a name for digestive issues which can't be attributed to any other condition. I assume if you are diagnosed with coeliac disease and you cut out gluten you should be okay but I wouldn't know for sure as I have no personal knowledge of it.

It isn't coeliac disease, but he wants me to have an examination there in the local surgery before my Gastroenterology appointment on the 9th Aug

Trying to get that appointment is like mission impossible

I'm wondering if taking the Fybogel is doing me any good as haven't noticed any improvement since taking it

I was put on it along with Mebeverine for IBS, as was going 2-5 times a day, but not every day & it was anything from solid to liquid, helped for a ehile, but not anymore since the pain in my lower right side started

I tried it about 30 years ago along with mebeverine. Neither did any good so gave both of them up.

The Mebeverine really helps, but feel that way about the Fybogel
