Whether cold or room temperature. Is it because its moving everything along in the gut? Can anyone relate to this?

Why do I sometimes have ibs pain when I drink water
I get this sometimes too! I have noticed that it seems to happen when I drink the water quickly, but not always. I should add that I do not ever drink cold water, and this still happens.
Yes, I have this problem too. I find I'm better drinking sips of Coke or Pepsi. That seems to hydrate me a bit and gives me a bit of a sugar boost.
Me too, I thought it was because it was cold. So I drink it warm or room temp
Water also makes me repeats on me
I get pain as well and it makes me bloat and causes distention, when I told my gastro doc he said it's impossible because water is absorbed in the body. I don't agree with him I know my body better than him, water does't agree with me.
Always drink water at room temperature, never cold 😊
Yes! I get this too. Definitely worse when it’s cold from the fridge and even from the tap. I fill up my filter jug, so that the water comes up to room temp and I find it easier to drink. It’s so strange, because diluting juice doesn’t hurt to drink. So strange 😬
Yep! as per my 1st reply to you( re showers) I sometimes find water gives me pains best to sip at room temp. Directly you start the digestive system by swallowing food or drink it starts a reaction all the way down to the gut.
