Hi. Has anyone been prescribed Audmonal capsules?

Have alternated between Buscopan and colofac for years but doctor has given me these and I’ve never heard of them.

I have diverticular disease/IBS.

I have not tried these..as I suffer from IBS-C..I did send a pm message to someone about your post..and I am sure this will help others. I'm glad you found something that works for you..☺

Does it not work for people with IBS-C then? 🤔As my doctor prescribed it for me recently and I have IBS-C and it was great for one week but now I'm really constipated and just confused 😕 I can't drink too much water but I have to drink a certain amount of water..It's like a puzzle trying to go to the bathroom on these meds!But I did have terrible headaches due to the trapped wind I suffer with and it's taken those away. Any advice or just thoughts would be appreciated. I'm in a real bind.

Yes, he did. The Colofac and buscopan don't seem to be working for me now but I've never heard of Audmonal and wondered if anyone had any views on them.

Oh I see, well if you type in audmonal in the search box at the top of the page, it should come up with some previous posts.

Sounds like a smart drug to try. Works for both IBS and Diverticulitis cramps. It is just another anti spasmodic. Similar to Colofac. There are studies that show it works too which is always promising. Takes a couple of weeks to work.

Have started taking them - hope they work for pain! Like many others of us coping with this debilitating and painful condition i am having bad symptoms at the moment.
