Hello all i'm new to this forum. I suffer intermittent bloating/discomfort that happens once or twice a week and lasts a day. I have read that coffee could be the cause and can upset the stomach as can nuts, both of which i consume regularly. Has anybody got experience of giving up coffee and/or nuts and what effect did it have for you? TIA.

I gave up coffee years ago as I could taste it for hours after and it gave me indigestion do not miss it at all. Nuts-have never eaten many nuts so cannot answer. What is good for one person is not for another. If you think coffee or nuts are the cause of your problem exclude them from your diet and then reintroduce them gradually this will put you on the right track. Good luck.
