Dizziness with IBS

Hi All

Does anybody suffer with dizziness just before the stomach cramps kick in?

It doesn't happen every time I have an episode, but more often than not.

Hi Molly, I get dizzy from time to time and its usually when my IBS is more runny and rushing through me, perhaps that is what's happening with you. Maureen.

Many thanks Maureen, I have since read that when your gut is fighting off something that has irritated it or it is inflamed, the blood can rush from your head to the source of the irritation, & cause light headedness. Just another one of many symptoms we suffer with this awful illness.

Hi dont worry it happens to me too dizziness, feel faint, i see spots and have cold sweats hasnt happened in a long time but always comes with a bad flare up

I do feel dizzy & sometimes sick when I have a really bad flare up. It leaves me exhausted & I need to have a rest after. IBS is.........!
