Just occurred to me a well meaning friend suggested I take a dose of Bicarbonate of Soda at night which I did and whether I was heavy handed I dont know but was in real pain after it, also tried cider vinegar with honey and that made me worse also. I find milk does soothe my I.B.S. so I am evidently not allergic to milk thank God. Its very difficult to take fresh fruit with being on a diet for Diabetes as cherries for instancec crucify me and grapes too, but then I am a little greedy and skip meals sometimes for fruit,.....
