Has anyone ever done an organic acid tests or a comprehensive stool sample. Where I would I even look for that?

Hi there. Not sure if this is something you can have done on the NHS. I had them done for my son, who was 9 at the time and we went private. We went to a place called Breakspear Hospital, based in Herts and they were brilliant. Comes at a price of around £200 each though. Good luck in your search.

I have had a comprehensive stool test done, they post the kit to you and you do it at home then send it back, it is quite envolved but well worth it. I would find a Functional nutritionist in your area and speak to them not cheap but at least you will go some way to finding out what is going on. Not heard of the other test but now I will have to have a look to see what it is. Hope this has helped you on your way! Good luck.

Thanks, do you know what the test was called? unfortunately there is no functional doctor anywhere near me so I'm trying to find a way to do it online myself.

The company that they used was Genova Diagnostics Europe and the test I had was called Comprehensive Parasitology.
