The last couple of days I've felt so sick and weak. Sudden bouts of nausea and a light aching (can't really describe it well)... plus my head aches at times... Sometimes I feel better... Don't really feel relieved after diarrhea like BM... ... Can anybody relate? Thanks for replying... (it really helps)

Only a doctor can diagnose IBS. It is also possible that you have a stomach virus. If it does not clear up in a few days, check with your doctor.

😒Really? Only a Doctor can diagnose us with IBS? Wow! You are so smart! She was asking if anyone could relate..not to be patronized.

in reply toEliana5

She asked was it ibs, she didn't say that she had been diagnosed with it.

B1 is correct in saying that only a doctor can diagnose it.

Some people come onto this forum who haven't been diagnosed and ask the members what is wrong with them.

Her question was: Can anyone relate to the issues she is going through. Anyone with 1/2 brain knows we are not doctors on here and this IS a support forum for understanding and compassionate people. If you or b1b1 are perfect, have no health issues or IBS..why be on this board??

in reply toEliana5

She stil didnt say that she had been diagnosed with ibs.

stop being so rude.

I was diagnosed with it approx. 17 yrs ago... the symptoms change and vary so much, that is what is frustrating.

in reply toBetty30

Symptoms do change regularly, but if you are worried go get it checked if only to out your mind at ease.

😒😒..yeesh..she I am sure already knows this. Since this is a support forum right? If anyone could relate. I'm sorry, but growing increasingly frustrated with the lack of compassion on here. Be kind! Most of us ARE suffering.

Definitely get checked by doc if it goes on, but my thought is that it could be down to the very high temps we are experiencing. I have felt very queasy and had unsettled tum during this hot weather, and I know I don't drink enough fluids, especially water, which if you don't, means you can get dehydrated which in turn can make you feel headachey and nauseous. Just a thought. But I would certainly advise checking with your doc if this has been going on for more than a couple of days.

Hi, yes I can relate. I think it is probably IBS and weather related. Have you gone through any stress lately, or eaten anything you don't normally? I know a lot of residents where I live including ne, have the same symptoms. I am wondering if you may have some constipation going on, like you need to move something solid (stool) sometimes diarrhea isn't enough to really clear is out. Also, it might be due to fluctuations in the weather..mine gets bad when it is hot or humid out, or If I have had coffee which I know is a no-no. I have been worried myself as I had an enema Saturday at the hospital, and last night had horrible cramping..some stool came out, but all the way to the "rear" if the rectal area. I hope they did not damage anything. I also have been bleeding with the bowel movements, if it does not stop, I may be impacted..and will go back to ER..as I have not been right, since enema. I think the nurse said I was her second one. I think she pushed the nozzle too far in. You also may have had a little food poisoning, and if only diarrhea, maybe a partial obstruction? Are you passing any gas? Maybe give it a few days, then have it checked out. Keep us posted..
