Update after colonoscopy

So saw my consultant today and has said the colonoscopy was all clear and he has said it seems to be i am suffering with IBS - C and nothing more can do other than drink more water. I an so pleased it is nothing more but st same time it is so affecting on my life that i am still at a loss.

It must be a relief to find that the colonoscopy came back all clear! I think stress can make health issues worse, at least it does for me! I need to make an appt. too because for the last month I have had stomach aches, gassy feelings, constipation (but that is nothing new) and just getting tired of it. My sister had the same symptoms last year and she had a bunch of tests and she was diagnosed with IBS. We both suffer from mild anxiety and worry too much! I hope you feel better soon.

I am so happy for you on your good report from your colonoscopy!! I am having mine on the 13th. I am very concerned and praying that my symptoms are nothing more than IBS. I don't like them but i will take this over "C" any day! My doctors are not concerned at all because all my bloodwork was so good and no blood in stool sample? I am just trusting God right now. I think all this anxiety and stress I have been going through in my life is what triggered all this and now my digestive system is all messed up.

I'm new here by the way and so happy to have stumbled across this site!
