As you know ive already discussed this issue with you, so thank you for sharing again. Ive just been diagnosed with diabetes to compound the problem, ugh.:-( However i'll take your advice and look ahead of time or ring them. I like that idea, this may really help :-). Hoping you're coping ok.

Hello, I’m so sorry to hear you have diabetes I can’t believe it!! How are you coping? I do hope the little tips are helping, all I can do is share my experiences in the hope it helps people a little bit. I always check the menu now as most restaurants have websites with them loaded, it really helps me so I hope it helps you too. X

Its always helpful Anna..ive had to change my diet again but this has made me more constipated. So great suggestions to call first at a restaurant, thats been so difficult for me and depressing. It'll save me stress and embarrassment. Im on blood tests weekly at GPS because they want to try and get it under control. I do what I can and try to go with it. Been somewhat stressful but im calming down and hopefully I'll get it controlled by diet (nightmare) and tablets. The good news is they are so on it. Im amazed as ive not had this reaction with my IBS.

Keep going, smile and know your helping others from your efforts.

Do you get bloating? What do you do to get yourself through the day? Xx

I think that diet is the hardest thing..I feel I learn each day with diet and it’s trial and error. Slimming world is really helping me get a more controlled diet but I still have to tailor it to what I can have so my weight loss is slow! Glad your getting lots of help for the diabetes I think with ibs they just don’t know what to do to help us!

I get really bad bloating and I find it so painful. I work from home so if I’m bloated and in pain then I get a hot water bottle or try soak in a hot bath just to give some relief but I find nothing helps I just let it take it’s cause and hope it doesn’t last long!! What do you do for it? Xx

Slimming world, thats interesting. Do you go to meetings?

As for bloating .... guess what, I do exactly the same as you. Its a waiting game for it to subside. :-(

I usually say to myself tomorrow is another day.

I go to meetings once a week yeah, my mum was doing it and when the dietician was rubbish that I saw I just had to do something myself. I went to the first meeting and they give you a food book and I went down the food list and ticked everything I know I can eat and put a x next to everything I know makes me ill and tailored it to me! I went from flare ups everyday to 3 in the first 4 weeks so it’s doing something good I know that.

Oh really! I wish there was something for the bloating and the pain I can’t stand it xx
