Hello there. Sorry uv not been very well. I switch between d and c but more and more d. I asked the Gp about the yellow and apparently if ur stools move through ur digestive system too quickly they pick up a yellow bile substance on the way through as ur body hasnt had time to break everything down. If i was you though i would still get checked out for peace of mind aswell as anything else. Hope this helps x

Please let us know how you get on result wise. I was diagnosed with IBS d about 4 years ago and usually pretty bad. Since July last year things got worse and I started developing loose yellow bowel movements, sometimes with food particles. I saw the doc in September who ran bloods and a sample and again confirmed IBS but I’m not getting any better and so scared it’s simething else. Google being my worst enemy, I’m scared it’s my liver or pancreas now. Back at doctors this Thursday as I can’t carry on like this. 😩 Good Luck! X

Hi, I’ve had a colonoscopy at the end of March. They suspected colitis due to the amount of inflammation found in the sample. They didn’t find any ulcers so took biopsy’s as he said possibly microscopic colitis, I’ve got my follow up next week. I’ve done a huge amount of reading up on ibs and microscopic colitis and have been completely sugar free for the last 3 weeks, that’s not just treats but all processed foods as-well and alcohol free for a month. Within a week my ibs has disappeared, and my anxiety is non existent. The transformation has been amazing, not only with the tummy issues but I look physically well, my skins cleared up and glowing and I’ve lost the bloat. I have not been this happy in as long as I can remember. I’ve turned into a bit of a sugar free preacher, probably a bit like an ex smoker but I would recommend this way as a trial for anyone suffering with IBS D. I joined a face book page to kick start my sugar free life which had an amazing support group it was only for the first 5 days but I’ve stuck to it. You can have the details if you like? Good Luck and I hope you feel better soon x

Oh wow.....sounds very positive. My symptoms are bleeding and mucus in my stools since january. No pain , but I get heartburn and the odd stabbing pain in tummy which passes quickly . Other than low iron which makes me have low energy at times , I feel ok . I'm waiting for colonoscopy, which is scheduled for june. I've also recently started to change my diet .....not as extreme as you , but big changes for me . Drinking less alcohol, upping my fruit and veg intake , drinking lots more water and less caffeine. Also I've been taking turmeric shots daily for last wk as this is supposed to be good inflammation and getting more exercise. Have been trying to have a few more meat free meals also during the wk . I don't think I could eliminate sugar completely but I've trying to cut down on processed foods like ham and cheese . One step at a time, but I've definitely felt better this last wk (although symptoms still persist , but not to same extent) ......fingers crossed for you and myself! Hopefully we can be back to good health soon . Keep me updated please x

Cutting out sugar is a lot easier than I thought it would be. Yes I had 3-4 days of headaches which weren’t nice but once I’d past that, the craving stopped with it. I’ve been out tonight and the compliments I’ve received are amazing so it’s not just me that has noticed this difference. Keep making those changes they really do make a difference xx
