FROM THEIR WEBSITE : Rather than using livestock, we take a natural nutritious fungus from the soil and ferment it to produce a dough called Mycoprotein™. It’s high in protein, high in fibre, low in saturated fat...
Yeah but what does this mean... is it suitable for a an ibs diet or could the fungus be irritating??
I don't know I've never had mushrooms... I know I can't tolerate soya...
Just looked on the link ... thank you... it says
Note; most Quorn™ products are unsuitable for coeliac sufferers and people who are gluten intolerant since they contain either roasted barley malt extract (brown products), wheat ingredients, or are made in factories which handle wheat ingredients
Lucky you showed me this because I am highly sensitive to barley malt extract ... you just saved me from a lot of sickness thank you 😊
