This is an odd question but I know a few have cut out gluten as they have an intolerance like me ๐ฎ I just ate a chocolate (I know I shouldnt have chocolate but xmas) that I think has barley in ๐ญ I know its not a lot of gluten but has anyone ever had a bad reaction to having that little or is it more than likely not to have any reaction? ๐ค

Gluten free
It depends how sensitive you are, you might be ok cos it'll only be a bit. Try not to worry about it. Was it Lindt ? I love Lindt but it has malt barely in it.
Well its been an hour since and I feel fine I have bloated and have gas but its the nausea I cant deal with I thought I would be bad because I have endo which makes me extra sensitive but I think the fact I eat/ drink healthier now I also take immune system and friendly bacteria and vitamins and peppermint oil tablets may have helped me fight off the tiny bit of gluten ๐ช๐ป I get nausea every couple of weeks but the gluten made me nauseous everyday ๐ฎ Hahaha how did you know it was that ๐ I ate one that I thought wouldnt have gluten in because on the box it didnt say which one had barley in but I think all of them did after I ate ๐
I knew cos it's my fav and I've just started gluten free to see if it helps my symptoms. So basically I'm reading all the labels ๐ it's sooo much fun ๐ not.
Sometimes with me just eating one biscuit or one square of chocolate with barley in made me extremely unwell... so I just stopped eating anything with barley in... now if a box says there's barley in but doesnt tell you which one has it in i just dont eat any to be safe... the sickness is too unbareable... i guess im just very sensitive to barley
Yeah I'lll never do that again I bloated I got stomach rib and back pain it hurt to breath still bloated this morning ๐ญ I was doing so well something had to go wrong for christmas ๐
I can't eat any chocolate of any description, I get such bad pains and horrendous nausea that even the smell can trigger an attack. I stay well clear these days and only eat sweets that are GF or I've made myself. Merry Christmas ๐
Hi merry Christmas my wife is gluten if she eats chocolate she gets stomach ache and need of the loo lindt chocolate is ok the original ones.
I didn't even know chocolate has gluten!...this is so exhausting and depressing how much stuff we can't eat
There are a number of gluten-free chocolates sold in groceries in the US, and at least one specialty chain retail store that sells all gluten-free, excellent chocolate. If gluten is the culprit, you should be able to get enjoy them.
