Metamucel

Can anyone help me please! I have taken Metamucel and for the passed 3 days because this will be the 3rd day l have not passed anything! Bloated up for sure. l have passed gas but nothing else. l have eaten better but nothing going out now. l know there is something there in these days. l cannot figure this out because nothing going out when you feel like having bowel movements then l do worry. I have had colon test 2 years ago and CT scan recently and nothing found. They did find a fractered pelvis. I was told if it was not bothering me it will heal itself! Thank you for any replies because l am beyond myself!

Hugsxxx Are you drinking enough water? As most medication for loosening also needs fluid to work. Can you have a bath? Sometimes it can help, it did when I was severely constipated when pregnant. I also used to take warm orange juice, it seemed to work. Eating things like ready to eat dried apricots or prunes, check they are not ones that have to be soaked and cooked, can help too. Hope you are feeling better soon.

Thanks so much for your reply. I have drinked enough water to float me. Nothing really happening and this is one reason l had stopped quite sometime ago with the eating. l started trying to eat better and try to give things enough time to pass

through. First thing l hear from doctors....are you eating enough?? Takes time you have a longer intestines! l try all that believe me! I do appreciate your reply and the reply is a very good answer too! That used to take care of the problem. l am beyond myself with the struggling. Thanks.

Linseed are said to be good also fibogel and yakult.

Hi Holland and Barratt seem to do it and if you put linseeds in amazon the reviews seem to be good so you can buy it from there. I have not had it myself but a lot of people seem to recommend it. I have had fibogel and that is available at many chemists. It is fine if you can tolerate fibre. Also must drink plenty of water for both.
