Have you talked to a doctor about this? My sister had something similar and it turned out to be ringworm. However, since you took the working tablets maybe it is something else. Is itching your only concerning symptom?

It doesn’t sound too serious but I’m not a doctor and I would definitely get checked out to be sure it doesn’t turn into something serious!

No other symptoms.. just itching atm. Been to the dr several times says it nothing. What could be serious about it?

By serious I don’t mean life threatening, just something that needs to be taken care of. Sometimes it could be a skin disease (like psoriasis) that needs to be treated but if your doctor says it’s nothing maybe it is just a pesky hemorrhoid or fissure. Have you tried anything specifically for those or have you let them heal naturally? You may benefit from ointment for those. Or perhaps it is a yeast infection.

Ive tired 5 diff ointments garlic now today i am trying apple cider vinegar in tea for a week. My hemmoroids are gone for now just the itchiness ! How do i know it its yeast? X

If it’s yeast you’ll have itching maybe some burning, flaking of the skin, you may have a rash or blister like appearance around the opening. It will also feel sore and irritated. Perhaps you should try an antifungal cream if you have not already. It may take a while to go away if you’ve had it for a while.

But these symptoms are common to hemorrhoids and fissures as well. It’s frustrating having an ailment that could be so many different things :( (story of my life.)

Has your doctor taken a look or swabbed to see if it was yeast? Or were they just told about the symptoms?

It could just be super irritated, especially if you’ve been scratching.

Also keeping the area dry should help if it is yeast or something related!
