Fodmap diet

I have been on the Fodmap diet since Monday and already I'm starting to feel better no heartburn bad wind feeling sick or burping. The only problem is I I haven't had a poo since I started the diet I wondered if anyone else has this problem

I also had that problem when I started. I was told by a dietitian that it was because I wasn't getting enough fiber, which often happens to people when they first start the diet (they stick to the white rice and potatoes!) Try brown rice, buckwheat, quinoa, vegetables like carrots and peppers. I wasn't able to eat raw vegetables at first, but after a while I could handle lettuce and cucumbers as well. Also, the dietitian started me on a probiotic right away, which I also think helped a lot. It takes some experimenting, and everybody's different. Hope you feel better soon!

Hi, what meals have you been eating on this diet? I'm not really eating much and I'm trying my best to eat FODMAP food but I can't really think of meals I could prep. I really need to get my appetite back as not eating is making me very ill! I have just this week been diagnosed with IBS and I'm desperate to start feeling like myself again!

I started the FODMAP diet 5 days ago and my bloated tummy has disappeared. I suffer from constipation but I am taking magnesium at night. Seeing a dietitian on Monday. Good luck.

I have now been on the fodmap for a month. My constipation is gone but the dietician to, me to have a tbs of linseed a day with lots of water.
