My ibs seems to have got worse since I stopped hrt. Getting lots of cramping with wind and low back pain. I have only recently realised the back pain is linked. Does anyone else have back pain and have they got worse symptoms since menopause? I can't seem to settle the symptoms any hints appreciated

Back pain
Sorry, can't offer any help as I am male but I also suffer lower back pain with my IBS (D)
Hi Cameron62 I have ibs c and have terrible back pain sometimes chronic untill this week when I was given patches of hrt for the first time in a long time I'm pain free I cannot believe that back pain and many other pains are linked to menopause (Poor ibs got the blame for everything)
Hi...I get low back pain frequently but didn't know until I read your post that it's associated with IBS..I just thought I had a back problem too. I still take HRT
I always thought the back pain was due to work. But I've realised it's connected with my ibs.
Yes I get a lot of low back pain - worse on the days my IBS is worse - I recently mentioned it to a gastroenterologist who just said "It`s all part of the same thing" - not much help! When the backache is bad it makes me feel quite nauseous and even a bit faint.
I also found that my IBS has been much worse since I started menopause - but no "specialists" seem interested in pursuing that
Cameron. Back pain goes hand in hand with i b s i.m afraid. Had a rotten bout of it just this morning.😢😢
