IBS Types

Hi I am new to the site. I was reading up on Kijimea IBS and I am considering trying it. I have suffered with IBS for years. I often reach the end of my tether with it. I have tried many things but not really found a solution. I do avoid lots of foods that I know are triggers. I have been reading through people's comments and see people referring to different types of IBS. Eg IBS A B C etc. What does this mean I have no idea. Please could someone explain?

Have you tried colpermin? I find it's better than buscapan and tablets that the doctor has given me I've been a sufferer for 25yrs and if it can't be sorted with food colpermin works

IBS c is someone that tends to suffer with constipation and IBS d is someone that tends to suffer with diahorrea. Sometimes the causes and treatments for each can differ x

I don't know I was just diagnosed with IBS. Guess I do now.

I've also been reading about Kijimea recently and reviews seem to be very mixed which is always the same with IBS products - one size doesn't fit all.

I thought on first reading it was just another probiotic, but apparently it's supposed to work in quite a different way.

I think you have to take it for quite a few weeks before you know whether its going to help or not and, as it's pretty expensive, I'm still pondering.

If you decide to give it a go, perhaps you'd post your findings on here.

Not what you're looking for?
