Hi I tried stopping dairy a few days ago and although I feel I don't bloat as much as before my diarrhoea is a lot lot worse- any suggestions?

I went to a nutritionist and was put on a dairy free and gluten free diet. She said it takes a while for the gut to heal when it's been used to being "upset" by foods it doesn't tolerate well. Maybe try an Imodium once or twice a day to slow down the diarrhea and then stay away from dairy to give your intestines a break.
Agree with Chindalou below in that it takes a while for everything to work i.e. it gets worse before it gets better. I have to say I am now better without the Lactose.
