Hello

I'm not new to bloating cramps constipation wind and unbelievable pain in my bowel.

Been in hospital four times in 10 yrs with constipation. Oh you have a lazy bowel.

Now I'm a very active 70 yr old. Last yr diognosed with a rare tumour in stomac called a gist. It had not spread. A form of cancer but behaves different from other cancers. Mine is small 17 mm. Can be treated.

I'm on a watch n wait programme and it had not spread. But still no advice or help for my supposed ibs symptoms.

I've begged cried shouted fr tests to.be done re ibs. My 40 yr old daughter has ibs and my son has symptoms so it's obvious family related.

Still no help. So my locum Gp has written to my gastrointestinal specialist in may. So far no appointment has arrived.

In the meantime I'm Trying to manage my symptoms with

Movicol

Prunes

Fitness

Distressing

And food mapping of a sort.

Drinking lots water

Taking buscapan

Wheat boats me

Alchol does not help

Is there anything else I can do

While I put pressure on the specialist to see me asap especially with my.history.

I'm not losing blood

No unexplained weigh loss

So I'm non too worried

I'm empty bowel.of a sort daily some days small some huge amounts then others days it just stops for ages fr no reason then the pain oh the pain I'm doubled over stomac huge feel.sick cannot walk due to.pain wind.why oh why. I eat well and the right amounts.

Totally agree with comment from olivedog. I too have been using Mag07 after years of suffering and it is amazing. No cramps just relief. I have also used Oxypowder which is also ozonated magnesium. Also very good. By the way prunes make you bloated and give you wind so I would avoid those. Movicol does not work for me even taking the highest does and makes me bloated too. I would stop that and try these magnesium products. You won't believe the difference.
