Swollen Feet

Just a little bit of a moan, went to see the GP the other day because I have now got swollen ankles and feet making walking very difficult and painful, asked her if my medication could be causing this and denied that any of my myriad of medications would cause this, yet when I read the side effects section on the info sheet for Omeprazole it states that swollen ankles and rash could occur (I have also developed butterfly rosacea on my face) don't know whether this is just coincidence or she couldn't be bothered to check.

She told me to keep my feet up and has put me on water tablets, took my first one this morning and I am now peeing for Britain.

Take care and enjoy the weather

I would go back and point out to her the side effects of Omeprazole and see if there is anything else you can have. She shouldn't have ignored you and I think that's really bad. If you aren't happy then I would ask for another opinion. Some medics are appalling!!
