I have anxiety and have done for the past 2 and a half years however, recently I'm struggling with loose stools that comes on really quickly when anything anxious happens to me. I'm not even going out at the moment because of it and I can't see how I'd get to a GP. Is there anything I could do to stop it and does anyone know what it is? Also most of the time when I've gone to the toilet I still feel the need to go even though most of the time I've just stepped out of the bathroom. I'm really struggling at the moment with everything.

Hi yes if you cant get out to get some imodium then ask someone to get it for you are ring GP-I have bowel incontinence and the only way i can leeve the house is by using incontinace pads.
take some with you and then you can get changed; also I find ALDI sensitive wipes help-take them with you and dont forget a change of trousers are whatever you wear.
Roll of toilette paper are tissues and a plastic bag for soiled items
The GP will understand if you have an accident.
I think you anxiey mit be the major cause-tell the GP

I agree with Pain57 you need to see your GP as soon as you can and he/she will be able to give you something to help you. I have ulcerated colitis and I am on medication that has helped me a lot. Before I had the medication I could not leave the house and one day when I only walked a few yards from my house I had a accident and had to get home quickly. I was so upset 😭 but now I know how to control it with the medication. Once I go in the morning a couple off times I am fine for the rest of the day until the next morning on so on. Your GP will be able to help you. Take good care of yourself and look after yourself. Jan101 🤗🤗🤗🌹🌷🌹🌷xxxx
Both seemed to be directly linked. You may find calcium carbonate helps for diarrhea (get your doctor's advice on this)
