IBS AND MUSCLE PAIN

Ibs can produce all sorts of weird symptoms. For the last couple of weeks The outside of both thighs have been tender to touch, not painful, just tender. I'm pretty sure it is my IBS as it has coincided with a recent flare up. Anyone else had this type of muscle problem with IBS?

Hi Terry100 ,I have had ibs for near on 28 years . Have also had muscle pains in my legs and my hips .This has been going on for as long as my ibs .2014 my doctor retired ,and the new doctor sent me to see a rheumatologist who said the ibs was one of the many symptom of fibromyalgia .This explains all the pains in different parts of my body .

I am not saying that this is the same with you .But I have years of my Dr sending me for this and that test ,cameras up and down .Just to say that that cannot find a reason for my ibs .

I wish you well Terry100.
