Hi Cassie, yes I use it and I think it helps me with a more settled tummy, less bloating and just a bit more energy. I use Nourish Kefir granules. You just mix it with milk ( tried coconut milk but not really successful) I used organic cows. One sachet makes a litre and it tastes like yogurt but a bit sour. I drink 200ml each morning. There's loads to be said for supplementing your gut flora, so it can't do any harm, and may just make you feel better. Let us know how you get on.

I found out about Kefir milk on HealthUnlocked site and if you stick 'kefir' into the search box, lots of forum posts come up with plenty of advice/recommendations. I now use Nourish Kefir which you get in the post. It definitely helped my IBS-D but has also made me rather burpy :)

Hey Cassie17

I drink raw, liquid kefir twice a day. I take about 1 teaspoon each time. I think it tastes like beer and not a beer flavor fan so my kids like the faces I make. I can tell if I don't have kefir after 2-3 days. My gut "talks" more often.

The raw stuff doesn't have added ingredients like sugar (the culprit for SIBO). I get mine at our whole/natural foods store in the refrigerated section.

I was drinking the milk one but now Ive now swopped to the water one and that seems better(I hope).I'm making my own at the moment it doesn't taste too bad its like still lemonade.
