Fiber Menace website

Hi I have had IBS-C for about 38 years. I've tried so many different things including fiber supplements, food choices, medication (however I'm a drug phobe and fight taking any drugs), cleanses (bad for IBS sufferers but there is a point when you're desperate for relief), laxatives, magnesium citrate (which worked but I found it hard to regulate) and many other things. I stumbled upon the mention of a book called Fiber Menace which is free to read on the website fibermenace.com and a whole website full of very convincing information concerning fiber. It all makes perfect sense to me. I have been on the colorectal recovery system from this website and in a little less than 2 weeks I am starting to see results like a normal person's digestive tract should be as far as elimination. I was so pleasantly shocked because my digestive system is very difficult to work normally. The dosage that works for most people has to be increased for me. Believe me, I know that all those who have IBS do not fit neatly in one category of problem solving but this has made the most sense to me in 38 years and it doesn't involve drugs. It can apply to IBS-D also. Just take a look at it and take the time to read his whole philosophy and solutions. It is well worth your time and some of you might find the relief you've been seeking. It's a process and won't happen in a day or 2. He even points out it might take weeks or longer to see the results you want but it is worth that for me. I've seen some promising results in less than 2 weeks but still not there yet. It's all about healing the gut. He addresses all digestive problems including IBS. If you try it, let me know.

Have read your comments re Fibermenace and I will give it a go. I have suffered from digestive problems and bowel for 5 years or so and I have been told basically to put up with it. I am 83 years old and I am certainly not going to put up with it, I will try anything to help. Will let you know if I get any results. Thank you.

I have tried that, read the book, studied the website, bought the very expensive supplements etc... After an initial improvement, it stopped working like everything else I've tried. My nutritionist said the HYDRO C I could find under another name in the UK. so not convinced. Sorry

I understand that there isn't one fix for everyone and it may not work for me indefinitely but it still makes the most sense to me concerning too much fiber. I've spent way more money than those products so even though it isn't cheap, I'm willing to try it at least a 2 to 3 months to see if I can heal my gut. No need to apologize. Wouldn't it be nice if one thing fixed all of us?
