BEST Fodmap and Paleo books, on Amazon??
Depends on where you come from if your from the UK try this.
Kcl.ac.uK/fodmaps Good Luck. I had that from a dietician in the UK.
Will look,,,, thankyou
I bought The Complete Low-FODMAP Diet by Dr Sue Shepherd... One of the team who invented it... Very good.
I bought IBS-Free at last by Patsy Catsos on Amazon,£10. Very good.
I bought it my self when it was recommended on this site.
This is definitely the best book I have come across so far. If you cannot afford a book read the Monash University low FODMAP blogspot. Really though the book is WORTH ITS WEIGHT IN GOLD !!!!!!!!!!!!
My dietician recommends for the challenge phase you introduce one food at a time rather than ne food group.... you will understand thislast bit when you read the book.
Low FODMAP has worked miracles for me.

If it's the lady I've heard of elsewhere I respect Sue Shepherd.
Not sure where to go for advice. FODMAPS doesn't seem to be a one stop shop. You still have to experiment a bit.
Paleo, I cant get an answer from its supporters. 10 000 years ago our physiology changed. I don't know how this came about but it doesn't seem suitable for modern man as our gut is now shorter. Depending on the author you cut out modern varieties and South American plants. This may be unpalatable. The banned list would then include potatoes, tomatoes, peppers, runner beans, chillis, sweet corn. 2 of those do have a bit of a reputation for IBS. Whichever you use, be careful.
Paleo is not scientifically proven, low FODMAP is. Go for low FODMAP first. There is quite a bit of crossover between the two, but for IBS you need to do low FODMAP. Paleo does have good ideas to offer, but lower FODMAPS are the key to success for 75% of IBS sufferers.
