Ear blocked help

Does any of use nice people no how to unblock your ear it's making me panic cause my ear is deaf

Hi, do you have a hearing loss in that ear already? It may be worth going to see a nurse in case your ear is blocked with wax. If so, it may be good to use olive oil drops and then speak to the nurse about wax removal.

Thank you. That's what I'm doing at the minute my anxiety is a bit high cause my ear is deaf have to use oil for 5 days then get them syringed

Hi do you know why it's blocked? Have you had a cold? Could it be catarrh? It could be wax. My son in law suddenly developed a blocked/deaf ear and went to the docs. The nurse syringed his ear and he was fine after that. So check it out.

I'd say it's wax I think I will need it syringed but doc said use olive oil for 5 days then get them done I'll go crazy waiting a week like this

Try Otex available over the counter and very effective.

My husband suffers from the same problem but a visit to the practice nurse

to have them syringed sorts him out immediately. Hope this helps procedure

isn't anything to worry about done in minutes. Good Luck.
