Fruit and veg will make you go to the toilet. For veg try having carrots and runner beans and if possible limit your fruit to two pieces a day. Porridge for breakfast is another good thing to have and never eat white bread always wholemeal. It sounds like you may need more fibre in your diet. I guess you will have tried a gluten or lactose free diet?

I bet you anything it's something you're eating that's causing your bowel problem. It's certainly what I eat that causes mine. I changed my diet and now after 40 years of bowel and stomach problems I'm fine.

Hope you soon get sorted.

That's what I find. Eat white bread & cake no probs. Healthy diet of wholemeal bread fruit and veg = disaster! Grrrrr

Have a look at the fruits and veggies on FODMAPS. Did you eat any of those? Certain veggies and fruits are guaranteed to rock my system (asparagus, beets, cauliflower, plums, etc).

FODMAPS rules out apples, pears and fruits with stones like plums etc. I stick to bananas pineapple oranges grapes.

Have you tried gluten or lactose free as that has made the biggest difference to me although I can now eat an occasional ice cream and not be too bad.

Like you I tried to eat a very healthy diet with fresh fruit and veg and wholemeal bread etc but this can be the worst thing to do. Try the FODMAPS Monash university app even if you don't want to follow it completely it will point you in the right direction to find out what is affecting you. Onions are often a no no.

Replacement milks like coconut, oat, rice can also help you solve your problem. Soya can make you very bloated.

Hope this helps give you some ideas. Good luck

But what most people perceive as good food is not always good with IBS I can't eat apples onions garlic broccoli and other things - I found this out by doing the fodmap diet - you exclude a whole lot of very random foods then re-Introduce - glad I did it - maybe you should try x
