I for one have enjoyed your jokes. Humour is a great coping mechanism.
I suppose the problem is that IBS is used as the but of jokes in comedies (particularly American comedies) with no regard for what living with the condition is actually like. So that might be why you have experienced some negative feedback.
Of course the difference is that you have first hand experience of it (and your jokes are actually funny).
Loved your jokes, don't understand why people get so distressed and not realizing that their reaction is the real problem. They have upset themselves not you! Please don't write any more apologies none were needed. We are living in a country being controlled by fear. The Nanny state syndrome. Why should we be offended by another view point that is different from our own? Because it triggers something in us that needs examining. Keep em coming you've got a fan.Kay x
I didn't see whatever post or comment you're referring to but i think it's healthy to try and be lighthearted about ibs, it's not a nice ailment and keeping jovial about it helps keep a better mental state
Ps: honestly I thought you were a woman because I used to work with a lass called Shaunie and i misread your name as that originally.
