Hi,

IF you google prob better than me explaining.

An op which supports the sliding bowel, and bladder.

It may also help with support for the uterus too as the cervix is lifted.

Best regards,

Sandra

I had surgery last Thursday 15th Oct. was home the next day with little info. I had a prolaped bowel which has been operated on three times before. The first bowel motion was very traumatic. the pain was dreadful even though it was very loose. at the moment I am still having pain in both the pelvic area and tummy. all to be expected at this stage I suppose.

Just seen your posting and I wish you all the very best with your recovery. I am at an inbetween stage and have seen a number of specialists.

I'm getting worse and know this could lead to full blown prolspse.

The IBS org site is very helpfull for information.

The newer surgery Ventral Rectopexy has only been going fof 10 yrs but I am now considering I worry because of uncertainties with mesh erosion Wishing you a truly speedy recovery.

Hi Sandra, How are you doing. How are your symptoms getting worse? Who will you have the surgery done by? x
