Rectal sore

I have burning in rectum. I feel like a piece of my skin or deeper sore is burning. I do dis-impact and may have caused it, but no M.D ever see's it. Any suggestions of what could be put on it to help it heal??

It goes off when sitting or laying. Appreciate any input or help!!! Hugs!!!

It might be worth getting it checked out just to eliminate other things.

I can only speak from my own experience. There are a couple of options. Several types of haemorrhoid cream with differing ingredients. A suppository helped me with something similar, though it wasn't piles. I thought it might have been a boil or similar but doc could see nothing to ring alarm bells.

I cant comment on the disimpaction as I have the opposite problem. However I wonder if anything unusual may cause irritation. If the mucus layer is lost even for a time I wonder if it has an unhelpful result - which is why I think the cream helped, it substituted for the mucus long enough for me to make enough of my own.

Fenbadger-----Thanks for your input! I am wondering what kind of different hemmoroid creams you mean? I don't have them but I used usual prep-h

and at times got little relief. I know of no other kinds. Your suggestions are helpful! Just don't understand why no Doctor see's it, and I can feel & touch it!! Thanks again! Sending hugs!

We have Prep H here.

There's anusol of 2 or 3 varieties, one has a mild anaesthetic and another is a suppository. I believe it's known as Tucks over the Pond. I've been prescribed Uniroid suppositories, also with a mild anaesthetic. You've been suffering a while so it's mildly worrying that no one can see it. Are you able to point it out or guide their finger? Admittedly a 1mm spot can feel like 1cm down there. Or possibly beneath the skin and undetectable to anyone but you. Extra and GENTLE attention to hygiene may help, to clear infections. Don't use perfumed soaps or talc, and especially not powders based on corn starch. I cut a flannel into small pieces and washed there several times a day, discarding the cloth each time. Still not really sure it helped.

Be aware these preparations are intended for piles but the oils and other ingredients can offer relief to generalised pain and irritation. My comments are in no way alternative to an MD's, just the result of experience. Hope that helps Good luck :)

Hi

Have you been checked for a solitary ulcer? This is an ulcer in the rectum which is apparently very painful.

Best wishes

Try organic coconut oil, that you can get at a health food store. It really works for anything like what you are describing.

Fenbadger, Thank you for your input! This thing has been checked out over and over. I did try some of the things you mentioned but will continue to research, thanks. I have some coconut oil here and am going to give that a shot. My hygiene is meticulous, and know that's not a problem. Thank you all for your help, your all very caring people!

God Bless!

You're Welcome! I have really experienced a lot of relief with coconut oil. Just make sure that it is a high quality organic extra virgin coconut oil. If it is not high quality the important ingredients in the oil could be degraded and it won't be as effective.
